Feel like it’s all too much to handle? Are you sad, mad, or frustrated? Are you having trouble concentrating or struggling with getting along with your caregiver or even your friends? Wondering if you can make it through another sleepless night? You can get free professional help to figure out how to deal with it all.
Your mental health includes your moods, emotions, and the way you think and act. Your mental health will impact your ability to have healthy relationships with your baby, family and friends and even how you do in school. Everybody struggles in life at times, especially when we are faced with new challenges, but if you feel like some of the things listed above describe how you usually feel, then know it does not have to be that way. Reach out for help by talking to someone you trust (your caregiver, social worker, teacher etc…) It is actually your social worker’s responsibility to help you find counseling, but they need to know you want help so be sure to let them know that you would like some referrals.
If you think you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or your baby call 911.
