When you just need a break!
Breathe! Everyone has moments when life just feels exhausting. When you are parenting, it’s important to avoid getting so exhausted that you just can’t function, to know how to recognize when you are getting stressed out, and to know how to get help if you get to the point where you feel you just can’t handle it all. To do this, we need to develop a “self-care plan”. This plan includes activities you can do on a regular basis to reduce stress and improve your health and well-being.
Think about which of these activities help you relax:
- Talking to a friend
- Exercise
- Reading
- Listening to music
- Do something creative
