Cal-Learn is a special program to help teen parents receiving CalWORKs finish high school or get a GED. You cannot receive CalWORKs/Cal-Learn if you are receving foster care funding!

The Cal-Learn program provides daycare and transportation assistance so that a teen parent can stay in school, and it provides financial bonuses for good grades and graduating before turning 19.

You can apply at any welfare office in the county in which you live.
