If you have an open foster care case and your baby is living with you but does not have an open case with DCFS, your caregiver will receive an additional $411 per month for the care of your baby. This is called an “Infant Supplement.”
If you are living in a SILP, the Infant Supplement will be paid directly to you along with your own funding. If for some reason you or your caregiver are not receiving this funding, speak with your social worker and your attorney.
