CHILDCARE

If your baby is not detained you have the right to choose a person, for example, a family member, or friend, or a place to provide care for your baby. This is true even if you, yourself are in care.

From the day your baby is born, they start learning. If you speak to your baby from the very beginning they’ll be smarter and do better in school. And to work, it has to be you or another person, not the TV, or computer. But wait, talking isn’t the only thing you should do to help your baby learn.

READ TO YOUR BABY –  even if you feel silly reading to a baby, they are hearing you and it will help their brain develop. If you like to SING – even if you don’t have the best voice that’s great for your baby’s development too!

There are programs out there that can do so much more for you and your child than babysit! Use the links below to help you find free (or very low-cost), high-quality programs that will ensure your child develops the skills they will need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
